I have had Time Warner now for 2 years, finally entering an updated and/or new review. Its been very stable, I have VOIP through another carrier and it has always worked reliably across the Time Warner cable connection. It is their lowest speed offering, it is throttled back, but I don't need anything more these days.
I don't have the lower cost DSL available; AT&T I guess assumes they've lost the battle here and won't even install a RT, even in the city of Los Angeles. Thank goodness for cable as I have never had such bad experiences as attempting to deal with AT&T/PacBell over the years for DSL nor do I want to deal with their long-term contracts.
