Pre-sales: (3) Presales was all online and the price quoted $54.95 was the price I pay. There aren't any junk fees. The only problem was I couldn't get accurate speed information. RR changes tier speeds so often they list a range of speeds so you don't know what you're gonna get unless you call.
Install: (5) I pulled the RG6 myself and had everything set up. All I needed was their modem (figured I'd use theirs instead of mine since it comes with the service).
Connection (5): Speeds are fairly stable at 14-15Mb and latency fairly low at 20ms. Every once in a while I'll see latency higher, in the 50ms range but it's not that often.
Tech support (2): Short of reboot and call us back, there isn't much they can do. Problems are never me and rarely something about provisioning. It's always a dead switch or router somewhere and there is nothing they can do.
Services (4): Because of Verizon FiOS, TWC has stepped up their game with 15/2Mb service but they've limited their usenet service to 4 connections, significantly degrading the speed.
Value (4): Locally, Verizon has a large FiOS footprint and TWC is just a bit cheaper so even with 15Mb being offered they're just keeping up with telco competition.
Because service quality can vary so much, instead of relying on these reviews you should always make the effort to talk to your neighbors who have the service you're looking into and ask them how it is.
Service is RR Extreme 15000/2000kbps DHCP Modem is TW supplied RCA/Thompson
