Roadrunner from Time Warner Cable (TWC) was the gold standard in Los Angeles, that is, until they took over the former Adelphia cable system. TWC has never been the same.
Like the Adelphia buffoons before them, TWC simply did not really know the system they were acquiring. What's surprising, TWC had more than a year to inspect & assess the Adelphia system before they were able to close the joint bid with Comcast for Adelphia's assets. Instead, shortly after taking over operation, many subscribers experienced way too frequent email outages.
Problems still continue, bit they are less frequent. Irrespective of TWC's takeover of Adelphia's system in LA, most of Adelphia personnel are still in place.
Bottom line, eventually, TWC will get RoadRunner to quality it once enjoyed with its legacy smaller system in LA.
