I moved from Cincinnati Bell/Zoomtown to better than double my speed and lower my price. Also, their service reliability in the Western Hills area of Cincinnati was spotty at best.
When I signed up 3 years ago Business Class was 5/768, 13 static IP's and that really was good enough for me. I need the download speed and upload not so much. In that time I have had 1 outage when a drunken slob sawed off a telephone pole with his car and a couple of speed increases.
I am now at 15/2 and still paying the exact same price that I did when I signed up. They do seem to have some issues with their DNS servers but a quick change to OpenDNS and I haven't noticed it since.
Sales is knowledgeable overall, installation was quick and easy and the service just runs. I read the complaints elsewhere about packet shaping but my customers haven't raised a speed issue with me so I guess I am not seeing it. Maybe it is a perk that goes with the higher price.
I think that $129 is a bit rich, but given the fact that my connection just works I pay it with a smile (almost) on my face.
