I am a transferee in the Comcast/Adelphia/TimeWaner deal. In north Texas we went from Comcast to RoadRunner for Internet. So I don't really have any install stories, but the conversion went fairly smooth. There were a few glitches in forwarded email, but those got straightened out fairly quickly.
I am sure I'll add to this as time goes on. Right now, this is all I have to say
Ok, I got a bit lucky. At the end of last year I got a call from TW and they said that my package was a mess (part Comcast, part TW). They wanted to fix it. My 1st thought was, "this is going to cost me!!". Then they explainged that my new package with basically the same channels was going to be 20 bucks less.. I added Turbo for 10 bucks more and now have both TV (digital and HD) and Turbo for less that my old package with standard internet.
