we got the premium for 69.95 with cable they left us an old used obsolete sb4200 motorola it never worked right we had gotten a brand new modem at officedepot but the tech said we couldn't use it so we ended up returning it

what i really did NOT like at all was having to use the old sb4200 its been a long time now and we have dropped water in it 2 times an it still works sorta the 2nd time it got more water in it then the first time but since it still sorta works they wont replace it so we are stuck with it until we can get U-vers

    update
i got a new modem its seems better then the motorola modems this one is a ambit and we were upgraded to 10/1 and pay almost the same as before now if any rr people are reading this please upgrade the speeds to 50/5 by the end of 2008 and everyone will have a happy new years

    Replace it!

If it's not working, take it in and have it replaced. Hell, buy your own and give up that oldie.

You won't get a discount I don't think, but you will get every penny you're paying for.

    Problems in NW Ohio

I've been having problems for the past two days. I'll be able to download at 900KB/s constant for about 5 min, then all of a sudden, it drops to about 2.3KB/s max for about 15 min. During that 15 minutes, I can't go to any websites, as they load far too slow, but downloads in the background continue at the dialup speed.

I talked to "Pam" on the phone today and she said, "Yesterday we had a problem with ALL MODEMS." A problem with all modems? What the hell? She claimed that my SB5200 was on the list of modems that were not working at the moment and it should be resolved by tonight. She also credited my account for a days worth I guess, and then told me to call back around 9pm EST if I'm still having the problems.
