Hello, this is a departure review; we have left RR in favor or Verizon FIOS - for now. We had RR since 03/02 until recently - about 3 -1/2 years - and never really had a complaint. But with the recent arrival of competitive Verizon FIOS at about 2/3 of the cost with faster speed, we could not turn that down. And so far FIOS has delivered 100%. I welcome the arrival of real competition on the Internet side and hope it will arrive soon on the TV side, too. I encourage Time Warner to work on continuous improvement and will always be on the watch for them coming back into the race. As I remember it, the installation of RR on top of our existing cable which was there when we bought the house was completely painless and to our full satisfaction. The cable modem did require an occasional reset (maybe weekly) which is why I am dinging the connection reliability a tad.
