    My Other Reviews·Packet8
So the install went well, got the promo price and when my bill came they had the normal rate and not the promo, so after trying to call about a dozen times I finally got through and got it fixed. It's very hard to call them, always busy.

So fast forward to yesterday, I bought a used SB5100 and wanted to get it provisioned so I could make sure it actually worked and wasn't DOA.

What a friggin nightmare that was, took me 7 friggin hours to get it done. First person said there was nobody there who could do it and took the MAC and said it'd be an hour. Hour and a half later it still wasn't working so I called back, this time I was told I would be transferred to a supervisor because they were the only ones who could do it, then after sitting on hold for 20 minutes the music stopped and I got a recording and then disconnected. Called back, got disconnected again. Called back, got transferred to national and after talking with them it became clear that I should not have been transferred because local needs to provision it not national, so they tried to tansfer me back to local but couldn't because the line was buys, surprise, it's always frigging busy.

So I keep trying to call and keep getting a busy signal, I finally got through to another person who took my MAC and said it'd be 20 minutes and assured me that this time it would work. It didn't.

Call back again, keep getting busy signals, finally get through and have to argue with a moron that says they can't provision a third party modem.. WTF? So why do they tell their customers that they can? After arguing with this idiot for 20 minutes I finally got transferred to a supervisor that said that they could, but it has to go through a certain person and he was unavailable at the time. He took my number and said that they would call me back.

At 9:38PM I finally get a call back and have to go through all this BS again, finally we get it provisioned, it works, and I explain to the guy all the BS I had to go through just to test a frigging modem is BS. When asked about why nobody could give me a straight answer he said "I don't know, but I'm sorry"

Yeah, good answer, how about some credit for wasting my time all frigging day?!!

As long as you don't have to call for support they're good, but calling them is a crapshoot, once you finally get past the busy signals you MIGHT get somebody who knows WTF they're talking about. Do they actually seek out morons for their support? Seems like it to me.
