My latest bill from Time Warner shows an unannounced increase in the RoadRunner price. The monthly price has gone from $24.95 to $41.95! That's a $15.00 increase which hits my wallet hard as I'm on a fixed income.
RoadRunner upload and download speeds SUCK in Merion Village/German Village are in the south part of central Columbus. I've had numerous Chat conversations with RR Tech Support and have a documented conversation telling me I should be getting 7168Kbps Download and 512Kbps Upload speeds.
Using various speed test sites, and at various times of day and on various days, my speed test results typically show closer to 6000Kbps Download speed and 400Kbps Upload speed.
Wow has become available in my area offering 6Mbps Download and same 512Upload speed. Most definitely going to look into switching over.
In August, 2008 I moved from Merion Village, Columbus 43207 to Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068. Reynoldsburg has broadband cable, cable TV and cable telephone service available through Insight Communications.
The apartment complex I moved to is very large, I don't want to mention names because of possible legal issues. The apartment complex is serviced by an Insight Outside Sales Rep. The sales rep was responsive to my phone calls either taking them when I called him or calling me back shortly after leaving a message on his voice mail.
