10/10/08 - Was put on a new node a few weeks ago, and my slow down during the evenings went away. Only problem i had was, i couldnt get placed with a client relations rep sooner. My god what a difference in customer service and class, that department is. So people who are having troubles in the NYC area, please ask to speak with client relations, they'll work for you finally to get the problem resolved.
We upgraded to the Triple Play - Phone/TV/Internet. I have to say i'm very impressed. The Voice is amazing, better than my old Verizon POTS line. The TV is chugging along - I think we need more HD content, but who doesnt! The internet is always on, rarely ever a service outage that i could think of. I wish you could be sent to your local franchise for support, not some 3rd world country, or some other region.
The pricing is kind of steep, but if you do a 2year contract with them with triple play, you'll end up saving some cash, which is always a good thing. Some people dont like contracts, but if i'm going to keep my same rate for 2 years, i'm A-OK with that.
