I ordered Road Runner via their web page. I did the self-installation (cost of shipping). Package arrived two days later. Installation did not require instructions, but does if non-tech computer users. The included CD is NOT required and makes a nice coaster. My account was ready to use as soon as the cable modem synced. I get 90%-95% of Road Runner's download speed and about the same for uploads. I have yet to have an outage, besides loss of power related instances.
Update: 01/25/05
Roadrunner upgraded to 5MB download. Had to swap out my SB4100 for a SB5100 at my local customer care center.
Update: 07/17/06
No problems, no outages.
Update: 08/01/07
Service still rock solid. Few minor late night (~3am) outages due to upgrades.
