We are currently with TW, and we have had them for about 5 months now.We had Comcast for over 3 years, ever since they took over from AT&T, with 4 computers networked via a Compex Netpassage 15-b router. Currently getting 6000/512 with dynamic IP, but it rarely changes. We had a rough 2 weeks after the changeover, mostly due to Comcast's lack of documenting what equipment their customers had. We were re-booting twice a day for the first week with no way to reach TW by phone. Right now, TW is very stable. We get expanded TV with a cable box, a movie package and Internet service for about $72 a month, taxes included. This is a standard package. We are using a Sunrocket VOIP 'gizmo' in between the router and the modem, and the VOIP service has been very acceptable. Speed tests show consistent speeds of 4500-5800 down and 480-495 up. QOS depends on where the test server is located. Ironically, using a Los Angeles test server gives the worse results. Speeds are higher with TW, especially uploads, which helps the VOIP phone, but the cable TV box display is very inferior to Comcast's, especially the On Demand area. I do not use the TW email, web site or software services.
