    Been getting speed constant 1800+ // 330+ for almost 10 months now. At times when it there is a holiday there sometimes an over usage and the cable modem needs to be reset to get the speed back up. But thanks to this wonderfull tool (dslreports.com) I am able to see exactly how and where the speed is. If Road runner is available in your area don't even think about dsl. For the money you can't beat it.

    Today is Saturday 20th of March 2004 and this is an update on my service.

    It has been a number of months now since RR gave us an extra 1000 of download speed. So it is now 2800 // 300k regularly and in general the service is very good and constant with almost no power outages in service except for every now and then.

    Today is March 24th and they seem to have solved there problems since we have had steady service since. So it's back to being on 24/7 and steady service
