    Where I live, Embarq DSL is pretty much the only broadband option. The service is reliable and the speeds (1500/384) are as advertised, but I miss the megabyte per second download speed that I used to get with cable. If I had more options, I probably would switch, but to sum it up, I am satisfied with embarq.

    Uhh...

    If you're looking for more bandwidth, why not ask for the higher tiers? They offer up to 5 Mbps in most places, with 10 Mbps rolling out as well.
