I'll start by saying, it's great not to be using Comcast HSI right now.
I walked into the Embarq store, was greeted by a friendly and intelligent employee, and walked out 10 minutes later with a DSL modem. Right on schedule, the service was activated, and I'm online. I am having a few connectivity issues here and there, but it hasn't even been a day, and the office is closed to have them come out and check on the line. It seems like the phone is interfering with the DSL. With my prior history with Embarq (then Sprint), I feel confident they will quickly and effectively correct the problem, so I am basing my review on when the service has been up, which has been about 80% of the time since install today.
