    heres some more

I have been with them over a year now. I cant remember any down time. My emails to tech support have been answered within a few hours. GWI is a Maine company. GWI offers better speed then Verizon and Time Warner. I am on the 15/1 plan. Speedtests at Speakeasy (NY) consistently come in at 11+/700. Considering this is Maine, I am very happy. If Time Warner ever offered 10/2 service I would jump ship though. No free newsgroups with GWI, maybe the only negative thing I can think of.

    Re: heres some more

My review certainly may not apply currently of course. These are my experiences with the company/connection from almost 2 years ago. Previous to that, I think I had service for apprx 2 yrs. I probably just had a slightly bumpy ride in a transition period. I had a great experience and would recommend to most anyone. I'd much rather have the service than TW.. unluckily for me, I'm stuck with incredibly long phone line and slow/intermittent DSL in my current home. My guess is that I won't see any more than 5/384 for some time now unfortunately, but luckily it suits my use. Except for those times I actually want to upload photos and other semi large files.
